At River our goal is to provide a fun & safe environment for your kids where they can learn to have a genuine relationship with God, build a Biblical foundation for their lives, grow with friends and leaders, and love being at church.

Your First Visit
From babies to fifth graders, our team wants to give your family an excellent experience.
When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form we’ll ask things like what allergies your child may have, how many children are in your family, and get your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your child’s code on the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.

Partnering with Parents
We believe the best way we can help your kids develop a strong spiritual foundation is by partnering with you. Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for them as they grow in their faith.
Here are some practical ways you can help us make the most of your child’s time spent at church:

Pick a consistent service time to help your kids build a relationship with the leaders and other kids their age.

Practice the monthly Kids memorization Scripture with your kids.

Pray for your children each week as they come to church and pray for our teams as they serve and care for your kids.
Nursery and Preschool
8 weeks - Kindergarten
Our goal is to encourage each child in a growing, loving relationship with Jesus Christ and others in an atmosphere where they feel a sense of belonging. We present biblical learning materials with a hands-on approach to help establish in the hearts of the children an active faith toward God and His word.
We teach the simplicity of the Gospel through a variety of stories, crafts, bible action songs and other activities. Every lesson taught reinforces bible truths.
Elementary
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
This ministry offers a place where children from Kindergarten through fifth grade can discover and develop a passion for God.
Through worship, biblical teachings, and a variety of fun activities/crafts, children are exposed to God's word and challenged to grow in their relationship with God.
Meet the Team
Our Children's service is fully staffed 2 serve team members (adults and high school students) who have passed a background check. Each leader has a heart to reach the next generation and is committed to teaching and ministering to children. You can be confident that your child is well-cared for and having a great time learning about God while you spend time worshipping and listening to the service.
